* : Getting episodic reviews

Accel World
Synopsis: One autumn day in 2046, Haruyuki has an encounter with Kuroyukihime, the prettiest girl in his school. For the middle school boy who is often bullied, the meeting changes his life. Through a mysterious piece of software from her, Haruyuki learns of the existence of the virtual Accel World. In that moment, the lowest of the "school caste" becomes "Burst Linker", a knight defending a princess.

Thoughts: Well, I watched the first two episodes since they aired together. I find the premise intriguing, however it feels like Brain Burst and the matches have no reason behind them. They are just there for the sake of being there. This is a turn off, so I'm hoping things are explained properly later on. Or I probably wasn't paying attention and things were explained. The chubby MC is a change from the norm. I don't mind it at all, however I hope he recieves a good amount of development. I also wouldnt mind some romance between him & Kuroyukihime, who is also an interesting character. I will admit that when I found out they were middle schoolers I got somewhat put off. Will be continuing the series, however no blogging, just a full review at the end.

Gakkatsu
Synopsis: In a fictional school, "Tender Tank" Rareko is constantly opening absurd yet strangely enthusiastic debates, this way creating a lively classroom life. Bringing up tremendous themes, she and her classmates exchange words like sword-strokes, and here and there even a profound remark is slipped in.
A fun and informative debate comedy, packed into only five minutes each time.

Thoughts: It was quite odd, but funny. The first episode was the students talking about what a certain bump on your wrist is called, and they end up changing the incredibly scientific name. It's quite the odd anime short, though it still is interesting. Will keep watching it for the lulz. No Blogging.

Kuro Majo-san ga Tooru!!
Synopsis: When magic-mad Chiyoko summons up a black witch by mistake, she finds that she and her friend Gyubid need to keep a careful eye on her to stop her getting up to all sorts of mischief.

Thoughts: Quite the simple 7 minute short. It looks like a fun series. However, given the fact that the witch, Gyubid, is voiced by Paku Romi and shows not what gender they are (lack of visible breast bumps and Paku-san's voice) I know not whether to consider the witch to be a man or a woman. Paku Romi! This is your fault! You play too many young boys! Will watch, but no blogging.

Medaka Box

Synopsis:

Kurokami Medaka, a first year, is elected as Student Council President, and the first thing she does is establish a suggestion box, later dubbed by students the "Medaka Box". Medaka encourages students to submit any problem to the box without hesitation and promises to take on any issue from anyone.

Since Medaka won the Student Council elections with a staggering 98% of the vote, she ends up as the Council's only member. She asks her childhood friend, Hitoyoshi Zenkichi, for help and he grudgingly agrees, becoming the Student Council's lowest ranking member. Soon Medaka recruits two more people to the Student Council, the former judo club member Akune Kouki as secretary and the current swim club member Kikaijima Mogana, on loan for 300 yen a day, as treasurer.

Now the Student Council members spend their days solving the problems submitted through the Medaka Box, whether they be hooligans in clubs where they don't belong, girls who need help writing love letters or people who've lost their pets, gradually earning the respect and admiration of the entire school.

Thoughts: I liked it. Fairly decent anime. Medaka's interesting and her superiority complex is a fantastic change from the usual character stereotype, specially since she's not a tsundere. Hitoyoshi is ugly and annoying. I hope he changes. I will be waiting for the next episode. Not with excitement, but still. Will keep at it. I MIGHT blog. Won't promise anything.

Natsuiro Kiseki
Synopsis: Natsumi, Saki, Yuka, and Ringo are best friends. They've grown up in an old agricultural town, experiencing everything together, both happy and sad. But one summer, they are visited by a miracle.

Thoughts: It's pretty drama-filled. Not like its a bad thing. I can sense all the yuri undertones already. Drives me mad! Looks pretty interesting. If I remember correctly, its an anime revolving around the SPHERE Seiyuu group or something along those lines. I like it so far. Will eagerly await the rest! MIGHT blog.

Queen's Blade Rebellion
Synopsis:  After the 30th Queen's Blade, Claudette becomes the queen. At first, she governs the country well by abolishing the heavy taxes and the aristocracy. However, her reign turns into terrorism by power and the Queen's Blade is repealed. The Princess Knight of Rebellion, Annelotte organizes a rebel army and declares war against Claudette.

Thoughts: I liked it. Specially since I hated the first episode of Queen's Blade. The introductions of the new characters were nice. Annelotte was brilliant. Laughed at Yuit calling Annelotte "Onii-chan" and then saying "Onii-chan had boobs?!". Its a shame Alleyne isn't going to be in this one. The story is much more interesting than the last two seasons. I liked Ymir's new outfit. And Elina is terribly ugly in this season. Will be eagerly anticipating the rest. Episodic blogging.

Sankarea

Synopsis: Furuya's obsessed with zombies. He collects any figurines, watches any movie, and plays any game with the living dead, and is even only interested in zombie girls. When his cat dies, Furuya begins trying to raise it from the dead using an ancient book of the occult he bought from a shop. But what will happen when he sees the idol of a nearby all girl's school walking close to where he conducts his experiment, wishing to die and be reborn as a different person?

Thoughts: Well, I found it to be quite eventful for a first episode. It held my interest and was overall decent. Furuya's quite the odd character for his fetish of Zombies. Rea's interesting and rather cute. The last scene made me gawk, wonder whats up with that. Will eagerly be awaiting the next episode, however I won't be blogging each episode. Probably a full review at the end.

Sengoku Collection
Synopsis: Sengoku Collection revolves around many samurai who are accidentally removed from a parallel universe inhabited by well-known historic characters. Unlike the historical war period known to us, all inhabitants in this unique world look like high school girls. Coming from the medieval era and finding themselves totally amazed by everything they encounter in modern day Tokyo, the girls become best friends through their adventures.

Thoughts: Another Sengoku anime! Yey....? Well, it looks like it has potential. First episode was quite good. I'm just hoping it doesnt turn into a romance. Because a female Oda Nobunaga being in love turns me off greatly. Can't wait to see the rest of the cast. Specially Yoshimoto & Masamune. Will keep at it, if it goes all romance-y, will drop. No blogging.

Yurumates 3D
Synopsis: Yurume, an 18-year-old "ronin" and recent high school graduate, has high hopes of being accepted and attending Tokyo University. She moves into an apartment complex, the Maison du Wish, located on the outskirts of Tokyo where other ronins living there are studying for upcoming college acceptance exams.

Thoughts: A 3 minute anime short series. It's nothing special. Quite cute and funny though. Will keep watching it. No blogging. Barely anything to talk about anyways. The character art is somewhat of a turnoff though. I didnt expect an 18 year old to look like she's 5. Oh well.
